The salary range for this role is:$104,334.88 - $187,674.24

Responsibilities: As the Co-Manufacturing Operations Senior Manager at Del Monte Foods, you will be instrumental in driving the co-manufacturing strategy and operations to ensure the successful production and delivery of high-quality products in collaboration with our external manufacturing partners. You will direct the selection of co-manufacturers, negotiate contracts, manage relationships, and drive continuous improvement initiatives, focusing on operational excellence to optimize efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.

Co-Manufacturing Strategy & Planning Develop and execute a comprehensive co-manufacturing strategy aligned with the company's manufacturing and business objectives. Evaluate and select potential co-manufacturers based on capacity, capabilities, quality standards, and geographic location. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align co-manufacturing activities with product development, sourcing, and distribution plans. Implement scorecard to evaluate co-manufacturer performance against key metrics and drive accountability. Integrate the teams within the internal IBP process to ensure alignment with cross-functional teams and strategies.

Supplier Relationship Management Establish and nurture strong relationships with co-manufacturers, fostering collaboration and transparency. Negotiate contracts, pricing agreements, and service level agreements to ensure favorable terms for the company. Conduct regular performance reviews and audits to ensure compliance with quality standards and contractual obligations. Implement supplier development programs to enhance the capabilities and performance of key co-manufacturing partners.

Quality Assurance and Compliance Implement and oversee quality assurance processes to ensure co-manufactured products meet regulatory requirements and quality specifications. Collaborate with quality assurance teams to conduct audits and inspections at co-manufacturing facilities. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and safety.

Operational Excellence Lead initiatives to optimize production processes, reduce waste, and improve efficiency at co-manufacturing facilities. Implement best practices in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and operational excellence to drive cost savings and improve overall performance. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as yield, throughput, and downtime to identify opportunities for improvement and take corrective actions as needed. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the co-manufacturing team. Risk Management and Contingency Planning Identify potential risks in the co-manufacturing supply chain and develop mitigation strategies. Establish contingency plans and alternative sourcing options to minimize disruptions to production and supply. Develop business continuity plans and crisis management protocols to respond effectively to unforeseen events.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred. 8+ years of experience in manufacturing operations, supply chain management, or related roles within the CPG industry. Proven track record of driving operational excellence and continuous improvement in manufacturing operations. Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders. Strategic thinker with a focus on innovation, collaboration, and driving business growth through effective partnerships. Knowledge of regulatory requirements, quality standards, and best practices in food safety and quality assurance. Proficiency in data analysis, project management, and problem-solving. WE OFFER:
