Whitman, Requardt & Associates (WRA) is seeking talented and motivated intern architects to take an active role in developing high-quality building designs as part of a growing, dynamic, and collaborative project team in WRA's Pittsburgh, PA Office.  Interns will work closely with accomplished award-winning senior-level licensed architects to complete design presentations, bid documents, and graphics for a wide range of firm needs, while earning experience essential to completing NCARB's Architectural Experience Program (AXP).

Requirements:

Applicants must possess the following:

  • Currently pursuing an NAAB accredited Professional Degree in Architecture
  • Excellent design and technical skills; and be motivated to apply those skills to the creation of superior architecture.
  • Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in creating interesting and engaging graphics for building design presentation is vital
  • Applicants should be self-motivated, detail-oriented and through in their desire to provide exceptional client service
  • Limited travel may be required, project related within 400 miles
  • Participant in NCARB's AXP Program
  • Proficient in AutoCAD™ and Revit™
  • Experience with Sketchup, InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and other graphics programs desirable
  • U.S. Citizenship required
