Role Summary:

This is a hybrid role, the employee will be required to report to our Headquarters in Pittsburgh, PA 3-4 times/week.

Join our vibrant team as an Accounts Payable Accountant! We are seeking an Accounts Payable Accountant who is both meticulous and dynamic, capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will excel in accuracy and efficiency in handling various tasks and processes. Your role will involve effective communication with both internal and external stakeholders regarding invoices for products and services. You should be adept at managing a substantial workload and meeting tight deadlines, all while collaborating seamlessly with our supportive team. Responsibilities:

  • Review invoices for accuracy and completeness.

  • Communicate with teammates regarding missing invoice details.

  • Process vendor invoices and credits with attention to detail, ensuring accuracy of GL coding to brands and expense types (50+ per week)

  • Complete credit card statement reconciliations and process employee expense reports

  • Ensure the timeliness of submission for Purchase order requests.

  • Effectively communicate with the Purchasing department to address and rectify invoice matching discrepancies.

  • Communication with vendors to obtain statements, invoices, and responding to payment inquiries.

  • Process credit card statement reconciliations and employee expense reports.

  • Maintain accounts payable emails and documentation.

  • Perform general office support and a variety of routine clerical duties including organizing, filing, scanning, and data entry.

  • Backup and support for multiple clerical duties.

    Qualifications:

  • Possess a minimum of 2-5 years of experience in a similar role, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of accounts payable processes.

  • Experience with Concur for Invoices is a plus.

  • Experience with an ERP system, internal ticketing systems, and internal instant messaging.

  • Team player with a high level of dedication and integrity.

  • Must possess strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Solid Microsoft Office and Windows based computer applications skills.
