Aerotek Receiver in Pitt Meadows, British Columbia

Job Title: Receiver

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Shipper and Receiver to strengthen our warehouse team. The ideal candidate should seek a long-term role with an interest in progression. You will operate a Stand-Up Counterbalance Forklift (Crown) and perform various tasks in the receiving area, including unloading trucks, lifting products, and transferring items to the racking. Additional responsibilities include moving products from the production floor, site clean-up, and eventually picking orders throughout the warehouse and completing shipping paperwork.

Hard Skills

  • 2 years experience operating Stand Up Crown Forklift

  • 1 year experience in receiving

  • Experience with moving unpalletized, loose materials of odd shapes

  • Good English communication skills (comprehension, spoken, written)

  • Basic computer skills (SAP experience is a bonus)

  • Experience using an RF scanner

  • Ability to lift 50 lbs

  • Comfortable with heights

Soft Skills

  • Good attitude

  • Quick learner

  • Flexibility to learn new departments

  • Safety-oriented

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Pitt Meadows, British Columbia.

Work Environment

Dress code: STWB (shoe or ankle high), jeans and t-shirt or sweater. No shorts or tank tops. Shift: Monday-Friday 7:00 am - 3:30 pm (flexibility required but will be morning shift). Pay: Likely around $24 - $26 depending on experience.
