The Program Manager reports directly to the Program Director. This position is based in Pitman, NJ and oversees our group home.

What Devereux Looks for in YOU:

  • Plans and implements the occupational, recreational, social and other developmental plans designed for each individual in their care.

  • Responsible for ensuring the internal and external facilities of the program are maintained in a way to present Devereux as a good neighbor and welcomed member of the community.

  • Responsible for all the staff within their assigned program(s) inclusive of the hiring, performance management, attendance management, payroll accuracy and training compliance of each team member.

  • Ensure all shifts within the program are adequately covered.

  • Supervise the planning, implementation, and documentation of programs designed to meet the social, emotional, physical, and personal needs of our individuals.

  • Plan and participate in group outings for our individuals.

  • Manage the shopping for the home’s necessities, such as food, clothing, and household items.

  • Schedule and transport our individuals to doctor’s appointments, shopping trips, and day programs/schools.

Qualifications

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • High School Diploma required, Bachelor's in a related field preferred.

  • One year of supervisory experience in a child behavioral health care agency.

  • Two years experience working with individuals with disabilities in a community setting preferred.

  • Excellent organizational, oral and written communication skills.

  • Consistently meets deadlines, ability to prioritize, multi-task and flexibility.

  • Willingness to be on-call.

  • Previous experience and knowledge of monitoring and managing fiscal responsibilities of a group home or residential setting.

  • Experience with DDD licensing site visits preferred.
