Job Summary:
The Senior Manager, Logistics Transformation Strategy will co-develop and execute warehouse strategies. This role will serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for warehouse analytics, facilitating strategic decision-making. Additionally, the Senior Manager will lead the sustainability strategy, including the net zero roadmap, ensuring environmentally responsible practices within warehouse operations.
Responsibilities:
Warehouse Strategy Development:
Collaborate with the Director of Logistics to co-develop and implement a comprehensive warehouse strategy.
Identify and implement best practices to optimize warehouse operations and drive efficiency.
Align warehouse strategies with overall business objectives and logistics plans.
Provide key logistics input into the divisions WH project
Analytics and Data Management:
Serve as the SME for warehouse analytics, providing insights to facilitate strategic decision-making.
Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and improve warehouse performance.
Utilize data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement within warehouse operations.
Sustainability Leadership:
Lead the development and execution of the sustainability strategy for warehouse operations.
Drive initiatives to achieve the net zero roadmap, ensuring environmentally responsible practices.
Implement sustainable technologies and processes to reduce the warehouse’s environmental footprint.
Operational Excellence:
Oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient inventory management and space utilization.
Lead efforts to optimize warehousing costs & deliver the Global FTG goal.
Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs.
Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards in all warehouse activities.
Collaboration and Communication:
Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of warehouse operations with supply chain and logistics strategies.
Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to align on goals and initiatives.
Facilitate the sharing of best practices and knowledge across the organization.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
7+ years of experience in warehouse management or logistics operations.
Proven track record of developing and executing warehouse strategies.
Strong expertise in warehouse analytics and data-driven decision-making.
Experience in leading sustainability initiatives and achieving environmental goals.
Knowledge of safety, quality, and regulatory standards in warehouse operations.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Experience with sustainable technologies and processes in warehouse operations.
Certification in supply chain management or logistics (e.g., APICS, CSCMP).
Familiarity with advanced warehouse management systems (WMS) and tools.
