Corporate Warranty Manager

Department: Warranty

Responsibilities

Assist and perform preparation of warranty claims as needed for all Divisions.
Ensure all warranty accounts are invoiced correctly. Monitor expenses of all warranty accounts including Foley Self Insurance Warranty.
Communicate with District Reps and Factory Warranty Analysts to ensure fair settlement of claims.
Ensure Warranty Analysts process warranty claims within acceptable time limits.
Assist and resolve warranty related issues with Customers, Caterpillar and Foley personnel.
Review warranty data and 6 Sigma Project reports and Ensure 6 Sigma Processes are followed.
Monthly reconciliation of corporate warranty accounts with Accounting Department.
Ensure Service Operation Departments follow correct procedures regarding warranty work orders.
Review, track, report and resolve claim variances exceeding specified dollar amounts. Submit supplemental claims accordingly.
Ensure all Allied warranty vendor guidelines are enforced, claim procedures followed, settlements received in a timely manner and monitor recovery rates for all accounts.
Identify machines eligible for factory "hardship" support from Caterpillar.
Monitor expenses associated with PIP/PSP Service Letter Claims.
Ensure warranty work orders are closed and invoiced in a timely manner for all Divisions.

Recommended Qualifications

Associates/Bachelor's Degree and/or equivalent.
Minimum 5 years' experience in the heavy equipment industry with progressive maintenance/repair supervisory experience and/or equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Ability to a manage team across multiple locations, traveling to locations if necessary.
Excellent communication organizational and interpersonal skills: both verbal and written.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
*Strong computer skills and experience with Microsoft platforms.
