EKG Technician performs EKG's, applying Holter and Lifewatch monitors, charting test results to patient medical records and appropriate areas. Update and edit procedures in multiple computer software environments. Responsible for cleaning and stocking equipment and work area. Qualifications: High School graduate or GED. Associate's degree preferred. BCLS certification is required within 6 months of hire. Must be able to respond to code calls and stat calls in a timely manner. Endurance to perform tasks over a long period of time. Must type minimum of 35 wpm.
