Position Summary:

The Stores Supervisor is responsible for directing Stores/Janitorial Technicians in the performance of shipping, receiving, and delivery of site materials and equipment and will direct janitorial duties for the ACO facilities. The Stores Supervisor is also responsible for managing the site inventoryof spare materials in support of plant operations. This includes conducting storeroom auditingactivities necessary to comply with 'Sarbanes-Oxley' requirements. The Stores Supervisor ensures site materials are controlled and segregated in accordance with regulatory requirements. 

Essential Job Functions: 

Develops or assists in the development of policies, programs, procedures, work instructions, and other documents related to Stores, Material control and Janitorial activities.

Establish and implement programs to document the proper handling of orders, receipt and storage of stock.

Qualify Maintenance Supervisor and fill in as necessary for the other full-time Supervisors.

Define responsibilities and functions of subordinate positions and assist in establishing staff requirements.

Assists in establishing employee training requirements.

Develops or assists in the development of training materials.

Ensures qualified personnel are available to complete assigned work.

Supervise Stores/Janitorial personnel actions including, but not limited to hiring, training, performance appraisals, promotions, work assignments, transfers, and vacation schedules.

Supervise Stores/Janitorial personnel actions including receiving incoming shipments, verifying packing slips, recording deliveries, entering receiving data into the inventory system, and distributing incoming materials to appropriate departments as required.

Supervise janitorial duties of Stores/Janitorial personnel to maintain the needed housekeeping and good housekeeping of the ACP facilities.

Performs Change Evaluations and reviews as needed.

Maintain the Maintenance and Testing Equipment (M&TE) program as the M&TE Coordinator.

Ensure appropriate inventory levels are maintained and communicate with ACP organizations regarding stocking, ordering and deliveries.

Performs inventory control functions; trend analysis, forecasting, reporting, establishment of reorder points and quantities (MIN/MAX), consistent with material management best practices.

Works with the ACP organizations and purchasing staff to determine the appropriate items to stock and establish the level of inventory necessary to cover repair operations.

Coordinate on-going cycle count and yearly physical inventory programs. Investigates any discrepancies and makes appropriate adjustments as required.

Responsible for safe and efficient work area and work practices.
