Scheurer Health, a highly regarded critical access hospital, is seeking a casual licensed Physical Therapist or a board eligible student to join our well-established Rehabilitation Team.  The hospital's Physical Therapy Department is exceptionally equipped to treat a variety of diagnoses and features:

  • Great support team
  • One satellite clinic located in Sebewaing
  • Biodex Balance System
  • Swim-Ex pool for aquatic therapy patients

The Physical Therapy Department has experienced continuous, steady growth during the past ten years and is seeking a caring, motivated professional to join the team.  Physical Therapist are responsible for providing therapy services that restore function, improve mobility, relieve pain, and prevent or limit permanent physical disabilities. Assistance in restoring, maintaining, and promoting overall fitness and health within the organization and community is also encouraged. 

 

Licensed physical therapists must have completed an accredited physical therapy education program and passed the required state licensure exam.  Board eligible students must have completed an accredited physical therapy education program and be eligible to take the state licensing exam.
