Group Summary

The Magna Exteriors portfolio of products includes access systems such as liftgates, exterior trim, modular systems, front-end modules including fascia, active aerodynamic systems and other lightweight structural components for automotive, commercial truck and other industrial markets.

About the Role

This position will ensure that shipping and receiving of material, goods and packages are efficiently moving through or out of Decostar and all accompanying documents are in order and accurate to ensure that customer deadlines are met or exceeded.

Your Responsibilities

  • Train team leaders and members in developing teamwork kill and team oriented activities in a positive working environment.

  • Coordinate the utilization of facilities, equipment, materials and employees to meet key operational indicators.

  • Track timesheets and attendance records to ensure that all performance reviews are completed in a timely manner.

  • Ensure strict compliance to all IATF procedures.

  • Participate in the advanced product quality planning activities for the development of process flows, PFMEA's, control plans and work guidances.

  • Report all accidents, injuries, and near misses immediately.

Who we are looking for

  • Operational knowledge of management information systems, use of personal computers and application software.

  • Demonstrated organizational, communication, problem solving and people skills.

  • The ability to coordinate other shift activities in addition to functional responsibilities for their own shift operations.

Your preferred qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred. Six years work related experience might be substituted in lieu of degree. Work experience combined with current schooling towards degree will be considered.

  • Forklift License.

  • Three to five years supervisory experience.
