Link Solutions is seeking a Network Administrator to join our team in Picatinny Arsenal, NJ.

  • Must be a US Citizen 

  • DoD Secret Security Clearance

The Network Administrator will play a vital role in managing and maintaining computer networks to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of government information assets. Working under general direction, the Network Administrator employs current information security technology disciplines and practices to safeguard the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of government information assets.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide Tier II-III network/desktop support.

  • Troubleshoot network connectivity problems, including monitoring the network and servers for problems, diagnosing problems, and taking the appropriate corrective measures to ensure an expedient resolution.

  • Install, administer, support, and maintain server hardware, peripherals, software, and operating systems.

  • Collect and review network utilization data for capacity and planning purposes.

  • Assist in developing, implementing, testing, and maintaining disaster recovery plans.

  • Interface with vendors for procurement & maintenance of all IT infrastructures.

  • Support the development and delivery of training sessions to ensure staff understand network resources.

  • Must be a US Citizen.

  • DoD Secret Security Clearance

  • CompTIA Security+ CE equivalent or higher.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field with a comprehensive understanding of computer science concepts or three (3+) years of relevant experience in place of degree requirement. 

  • Experience with Active Directory, Windows 10, Microsoft Office 365, and remote desktop (Citrix).

  • Cisco Certification

Preferred:

  • Microsoft or related certification.

  • Cisco Certified Entry Networking Technician (CCENT), Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), or Brocade Certified Professional.

  • Ability to function independently and as a team player in a fast-paced environment required.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.

  • Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical users.

  • Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently

  • Accurate and precise attention to detail.
