Adecco US, Inc. Ultrasound Technologist in Phoenix, Arizona

Adecco is currently assisting a client in their search in hiring an Ultrasound Technologist for their Tucson, AZ location.

Pay Rate: The wage for this position is between $38 and $40 . Hourly wage may depend upon experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Shifts:

7am – 3:30pm, 7:30am- 4pm, 8am4:30pm, and 7a-7:30pm. (Plus On-call and call back hours)

Job Description:

• Interpret requests or instructions from radiologist or medical officers.

• Independently interpret and carry out the requests made by physicians.

• Collaboration with attending physicians, peers, and other healthcare team members

• Prepares room, equipment and materials needed for patient procedures.

• Explains procedures to patient in a manner that will gain cooperation, understanding, and allay apprehension.

• Performs diagnostic ultrasound examination on multiple areas of the body, including, but not limited to the abdomen, neck, chest, extremities, pelvis, and retroperitoneal space, for

the purpose of acquiring high quality examinations that assist in the diagnosis and

treatment of patient medical disorders.

• Performs Intra-Operative Ultrasound examinations to assist the Interventional

Radiologists in tumor ablation procedures in a sterile surgical environment.

• Sets up equipment, makes multiple simultaneous settings and adjustments in operation of

the equipment, and manually maneuvers the transducer to perform the exam; insuring

accurate results.

• Performs or schedules routine housekeeping duties to assure that the ultrasound area is

clean and sanitary

Qualifications:

• Registered Ultrasound Technologists

• Must have a minimum of two years’ current experience in this field and recent Ultrasound Technologist experience in a hospital setting including covering inpatient units, ED and ICU.

• Maintains current clinical skill and credentialing through in-service programs, continuing education to include evidence of a certificate as a Sonographer from the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS).

• BLS

• ACLS

Pay Details: $38.00 to $40.00 per hour
