Kohl's Territory Merchandise & Visual Manager- West in Phoenix, Arizona

BUSINESS IMPACT STATEMENT Elevates in store presentation through training and best in class merchandising and visual standards to drive sales. This role will actively coach and develop store leaders and teams to drive exceptional execution of all merchandise and visual presentation priorities and standards.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

Train field associates on merchandising and visual standards to elevate in store presentation and maximize sales performance

  • Develop and execute merchandising and visual training platforms including hands-on in store training workshops, training video modules and digital presentations focused on teaching and training merchandising and visual standards.

  • Coach and train District Managers, Store managers and associates during store visits on presentation standards and strategic initiatives to elevate in-store experience and maximize sales performance.

  • Host weekly Merchandise Captain and District Visual Lead conference calls to teach, train and reinforce great visual and merchandising standards, recognizing outstanding execution and communicating strategic corporate initiative

    Direct best in class visual and merchandise presentation through successful execution and of priorities and standards

  • Conducts weekly store visits in assigned Territory and Region to drive sales and identify merchandising and visual opportunities with District Manager, Store Manager and associates.

  • Visits top volume stores quarterly to elevate execution and consistency of Merchandise and Visual Presentation.

  • Competitively shops monthly to identify trends and communicate insight to Corporate

    Partner with field and corporate team to deliver an exciting in store experience

  • Actively coach and develops field associates to drive exceptional execution of all merchandise and visual presentation priorities

  • Attends weekly Territory calls to provide insight on Merchandise and Visual Presentation priorities and updates.

  • Maintain strong partnership with the Territory Manager, Regional Manager and District Managers communicating regularly to align priorities and strategic vision.

  • Partner with SED Category teams on store initiatives and sets, provide feedback on in store experience and strategic direction for enhanced execution in the field.

  • Visit Corporate offices quarterly to build business partner relationships

QUALIFICATIONS

REQUIRED

  • 3-5 years Merchandise Presentation or Visual Management experience in a retail environment

  • Strong team building and partnership skills

  • Detail oriented, ability to work independently. Strategic thinker / problem solver. Exceptional communication and organizational skills

  • Ability to simultaneously handle multiple projects while meeting tight deadlines

  • Travel up to 60% of time

  • Ability to lift 50 pounds on an occasional to frequent basis. Greater than 50 pounds = 1 Associate per 50 pounds

    PREFERRED

  • 3+ years Retail Store Manager Experience

  • Proficient in Google Slides, Adobe, Word, Excel, PowerPoint

    LOCATION

  • Candidates need not be stationed exclusively in these designated stores; they have the flexibility to work from any location within the territory.
