Position Summary:

The primary roles of the Field Services Sr. Systems Administrator is to oversee IT functions at User locations, develop and test solutions and mentor team members. They will collaborate with End Users, Local Leadership, and IT stakeholders to design and implement solutions that will meet business needs and follow established guidelines. They will plan and execute projects within the end user workspace, including areas such as compute, end user devices, and location infrastructure. This is a hybrid role with 25% travel.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain effective relationships with leadership and staff at assigned locations as well as with key IT staff. Understand high-level business functions from an IT perspective. Keep abreast of technology in use at across the enterprise.

  • Oversee the design and implementation of end user technologies across OpCos. Liase between OpCo leadership, staff and Corporate IT for infrastructure and end user IT related functions. Leverage relationships to ensure best practices and company standards are observed.

  • Plan, lead, and execute projects and initiatives including system conversions, device and infrastructure lifecycle management and new technology implementations. Responsibilities may include end user coordination, change management, implementation tasks and training/orientation of users.

  • Design, create and maintain documentation related to OpCo infrastructure, systems and support.

  • Attend P1/P2 critical incident calls for supported locations. Gather information regarding business impact. Make recommendations regarding proposed solutions.

  • Serve as a point of escalation and coordination for end user, business impacting issues.

  • Provide timely resolution of assigned L2/L3/L4 incidents.

  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
