Hussmann Corporation Supply Chain Project Manager in Phoenix, Arizona

Overview

The key aspect of this role is to provide Project Management and purchasing and inventory control expertise and leadership to support Branch Operations overall Supply Chain strategy with BOS. As a PM you will be accountable for defining and refining our business requirements for BOS to support our AOP goals and driving process standards in the BOS ERP Program. Expectations include defining overall productivity plan for parts procurement regionally and delivery efforts for supply chain processes, inventory planning, materials expertise in sourcing, and material components of account management. Leadership in process with other Business Super Users for value delivery of BOS Program.

Responsibilities

  • Define, develop, and drive the execution of the overall parts productivity strategies based on the business AOP goal and industry trends.

  • Manage the creation and maintenance of all vendor fulfillment options to maximize the best rate to drive down the overall material/vendor costs across all regions

  • Develop the overall program for Gas Supplier Optimization for rental charges across all regions to generate annual productivity targets and chart the progress in quarterly reviews with the business

  • Identify, analyze, and develop the annual plans and facilitate on-going reviews and improvements in the Service Truck Stock and Supply Chain fulfillment methods to drive productivity in Branch Operations

  • Identify, analyze, and develop the annual plans and facilitate on-going reviews and improvements in the Vendor Rebate programs to drive productivity in Branch Operations

  • Develop and execute OSMI projects to return, gain credit, and otherwise remove inventory that is not needed in the business

  • Define and manage the execution of OEM vs Aftermarket parts initiatives to quantify opportunities and options for the region and share results across other regions as a best practice.

  • Will involve, solicit, and engage all Supply Chain teams including District level procurement agents to create support networks for parts productivity and report out in a quarterly cadence to review parts productivity and supply chain strategies to Operations leadership

  • Partner with Operations Managers to directly support MRP needs within Branch Operations & Retail Services.

  • Participate with cross functional team to understand how Hussmann Retail Services is organized and BOS ERP is impacting the business operations as it relates to supply chain.

  • Coordinate with BOS Core Team and Sponsors regularly to support all process efforts with Supply Chain.

Qualifications

  • Bookkeeping, AR/AP, Accounting or related education/training required, Bachelor’s Degree Preferred

  • Demonstrated solution driven behaviors, adopting best practices and creative problem-solving methods

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience working in materials sourcing role as a Supply Chain Specialist, Buyer Planner, Procurement or Inventory Control leader

  • Expert level data analytics skills

  • Very strong level Microsoft office skills including Excel, PowerPoint, Word and MS Teams

  • The ability to thrive in fast-paced, environments while being flexible and able to handle changing scenarios; someone who sees ‘ambiguity’ as an opportunity rather than a hurdle

  • High degree of personal accountability, critical thinking, communication, team leadership, and presentation skills

  • Possess a combination of characteristics, including decisiveness, strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, strategic thinking, strong detail-oriented and results-based working environment

  • Demonstrates effective consulting, listening, and emotional intelligence skills to diverse audiences, promoting engagement and perseverance

  • ERP/MRP systems experience

  • Power BI experience

  • Process mapping experience

  • Large Project Collaboration experience

  • Strong Presentation skills
