All Things Metal, a six-times best places to work winner, is seeking a dedicated, professional, and motivated Estimator with experience in structural steel. Our Estimators analyze projects to determine scope, schedule requirements, and necessary materials. They also coordinate detail, fabrication & erection to effectively bring their projects within budget and on schedule.

All Things Metal is a structural and miscellaneous steel fabricator and erector located in Phoenix, Arizona, located off of Central and Pinnacle Peak. JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

Our Estimating team is unique in that we own the entire process all the way through erection. You will get to be a part of the process all the way through the completion of the projects.

· Review bid plans to determine scope.

· Clarify any ambiguities with client.

· Complete steel takeoff in Bluebeam & Tekla

· Review bid for project specific nuances (access, special conditions, etc.…)

· Draft clear bid inclusions & exclusions

· Attend job walks

· Change orders – Review revised design drawings and price change orders

EXPERIENCE (Resolution + Quality + Accuracy)

· Must have a clear understanding of architectural and structural drawings, including structural steel.

· Must have Microsoft Office programs (Excel & Outlook) & basic computer/internet skills.

· Must have Bluebeam PDF takeoff (or equivalent) experience.

· 3-5 years of related experience as a structural steel estimator

· Must have Tekla EPM & Tekla Structures experience.

· Must be quality, detail, and accuracy oriented.

· Great verbal and written communication skills are required.

· Must be proactive, self-disciplined, and able to work independently with minimal supervision or as part of an

awesome team.
