Responsible for the management of the Center\'s recreation program. Oversees the daily management of the recreation department and uses proper judgment and discretion to resolve student and staff issues and concerns. Develops and implements a variety of programs to appeal to the entire student population. Promotes health and wellness, and publishes weekly and monthly recreation schedules. Is an active member of the Center\'s HEALs Committee and supports the coordination and management of the extended training day program. Works in partnership with Dorm Life/Residential Living and Safety/Security staff to effectively supervise and manage the student population. May serve as the Acting Center Shift Manager/Manager on Duty.

    • Publish weekly and monthly recreation schedules to keep the community informed and engaged.
  • Committee Involvement:

    • Actively participate in the Center\'s HEALs Committee, contributing to initiatives that enhance the overall well-being of our community.
  • Extended Training Day Program:

    • Support the coordination and management of the extended training day program, ensuring a seamless integration of recreational activities.
  • Collaborative Supervision:

    • Work closely with Dorm Life/Residential Living and Safety/Security staff to effectively supervise and manage the student population.
    • Collaborate seamlessly to create a holistic and supportive living and learning environment.
  • Managerial Flexibility:

    • Demonstrate your leadership capabilities by occasionally serving as the Acting Center Shift Manager/Manager on Duty, showcasing your adaptability and commitment.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent required. Associate of Arts Degree from an accredited school preferred. A minimum three years of experience in recreation management/physical education and a substantial experience working with youth. Must possess a valid in-State Driver\'s License and
