Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provides leadership to and is accountable for the performance of Clinical Quality Consultants and data abstractors

  • Direction and guidance on network clinical quality performance and improvement

  • Provide analytical interpretation of quality performance and support business plan development to measure and improve performance

  • Be the subject matter expert for quality-related activities within the market and develop effective strategies to improve quality performance

  • Develop and present in various business review meetings related to quality

Years of post-high school education can be substituted/is equivalent to years of experience.

Required Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of healthcare experience, including experience in an ACO or managed care setting

  • 2+ years of experience in value-based contracts and executing HEDIS/STARS strategy

  • 2+ years of experience in provider-facing interactions, including provider education

  • 2+ years of experience with data analysis and the ability to review data and implement improvement strategies

  • Advanced experience using Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel spreadsheets

  • Ability to travel locally up to 25% with occasional overnight travel

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Registered Nurse and/or other clinical degree

  • Clinical data abstraction/quality chart review experience

  • Billing and CPT coding experience

  • CMS audits and regulatory reporting experience

  • Medicare and/or Medicaid experience
