Amazon Licensing Coordinator, Regulatory Ops in Phoenix, Arizona

Description

Amazon Pharmacy is seeking a Licensing Coordinator who can guide us through the complexities of being a

growing company in the pharmacy, healthcare, and technology industry. As a Licensing Coordinator, you will play a key role in ensuring pharmacy compliance, limiting our exposure, and ensuring that the company

complies with federal, state, and industry regulations and standards.

Key job responsibilities

Have oversight of facility licensing application process to meet aggressive internal and external deadlines

Communicate with a variety of state licensing Boards to obtain application status

Organize and create online facility profiles to include items needed to send to state Boards

Track and process licensure renewals and update internal records

Be responsible for coordinating payment for licenses

Have oversight of employee licensing and certifications

Assist Licensing Manager with other functions as needed

Basic Qualifications

  • High school or equivalent

  • Active and unrestricted Pharmacy License with the local Board of Pharmacy

  • Minimum 1.5+ years experience in a compliance-focused administration, credentialing, or licensing role

  • 6 months of Amazon Pharmacy work experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in communicating with federal agencies or pharmacy boards

  • Demonstrated ability to act as a subject matter expert (SME) in a sensitive/regulated area such as Human Resources, Medical Office Management, or Law

  • Expertise with Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, Zendesk, Slack, and Chime

  • Meets/exceeds Amazon’s leadership principles requirements for this role

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality

  • Meticulous attention to detail

  • Strong sense of urgency

  • Ability to work 40+ hours per week as required
