As an Analytical Inspector here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and compliance of our products through thorough inspections and tests. Your responsibilities will include conducting inspections and tests on incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products. You will analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous enhancement. Your attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards will be essential in this role.

You will report directly to the Production Supervisor and work out of the Phoenix Sky Harbor R&O facility. In this role, you will impact the quality and compliance of our products, ensuring that they meet regulatory standards and customer expectations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conduct thorough inspections and tests on incoming aerospace materials/parts, in-process production, and finished products.

• Analyze data to identify trends, risks, and areas for improvement

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to investigate and resolve quality issues

• Implement corrective actions as needed

• Prepare comprehensive reports for senior management, highlighting key performance indicators and recommending strategies for enhancement

• This is a FAA safety-sensitive role.

U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.

YOU MUST HAVE

• 3+ years Inspector experience

• Strong attention to detail

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

• Thorough knowledge of SAP as well as Excel/Word/Teams.

• Thorough understanding of Machining and sheet metal fabrication. i.e: CNC Lathe/Mill, 5-Axis, Micrometers, Calipers, Hight Gages and more.

• Able to navigate through blueprints, spreadsheets, schematics and dimensional sheets.

All applicants for placement in DOT/FAA safety-sensitive positions will be required to submit to a pre-employment drug test, testing for Marijuana, Cocaine, Amphetamines (amphetamine, methamphetamine, MDMA, MDA), Phencyclidine (PCP), and Opioids (codeine, heroin, morphine, oxycodone, oxymorphone, hydrocodone, hydromorphone). The DOT/FAA regulations require all employees, regular and temporary, in safety-sensitive positions, to be included in the Honeywell Anti-drug and Alcohol Misuse Prevention Plan.
