Principal Service Solutions Field Service Equipment Engineer in Phoenix, Arizona

Principal Service Solutions is hiring Field Service Engineers who will be responsible for the installations, qualification, repair, and maintenance of semiconductor equipment (Etch, PVD, or CVD) at customer sites and is responsible for the necessary transfer of know-how to the customer.

We are searching for detail-oriented people with electromechanical experience/aptitude and a strong work ethic who are looking for an opportunity that offers unlimited opportunities for growth and career progression.

Job Description:

  • Perform equipment Pre-installations and setups

  • Perform equipment corrective maintenance

  • Perform equipment conversions and upgrades

  • Must be able to relocate to Hillsboro, Oregon for the first year of employment and then back to Phoenix AZ.

    Minimum Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Ability to effectively use hand tools, meters, scopes, and other specialized equipment

  • Previous semiconductor experience is highly desired

  • Ability to lift, pull, and push objects weighing up to 50lbs

  • Ability to work in cleanroom attire and sit or stand for a prolonged period

  • Ability to travel nationally and internationally

    Physical Requirements:

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, kneel and bend; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear

    Educational Requirements:

  • AS degree in an engineering discipline is highly desirable (related engineering discipline is electronics, electrical, mechanical, and chemical).

  • Military education combined with related experience may be substituted for academic education

  • Troubleshooting and component board level repair are a plus.

  • Precision mechanical repair is a plus.

    Pay Structure:

    1 to 4 weeks: PR $28.00/hr    

5 to 15 weeks: PR $29.00/hr    

16 to 52 weeks: PR $30.00/hr  

52 + weeks: PR $32.00/hr
