Join our team and do great work on behalf of better health in this 30 hour/week evening position in Phoenix, AZ.

POSITION SUMMARY

Under general supervision, Couriers are responsible for picking up and transports specimens, reports, and supplies following a designated route.

CORE FUNCTIONS

  1. Provide clients with consistent and high-quality level of service through effective communication, picking up specimens, delivering lab results, and supplies. Ability to effectively organize reports and supply deliveries to ensure client’s expectations are met.

  2. Operates company vehicle. Responsibilities include daily vehicle inspection, operating the vehicle in a safe and defensive manner by utilizing the principles of Smith System, and ordering required maintenance.

  3. Utilize mobile data terminal to accurately record routine and will call client stops, specimen counts and types. Responsible for reporting client route information. Couriers shall strive for zero missed specimen pick-ups.

  4. Communicates with dispatch by radio or telephone on all service-related issues.

  5. Trains new couriers on routes.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Requires valid Arizona driver's license.

  • Must be 18 years of age.

  • Ability to understand and follow instructions.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Additional related education and/or experience preferred.
