Job Title: Construction Laborer

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Construction Laborer to join our team. You will be working in a fast-paced environment at TSMC, primarily responsible for moving heavy machinery and performing general labor tasks. Your duties will include using various rigging equipment to install process tools (semiconductor equipment) and pedestals (metal support structures) in a clean room environment. You will need to maintain cleanliness standards that exceed those of a hospital operating room. You may also be required to work on the dock, which includes unloading, uncrating, and moving equipment into dedicated wipe-down areas for installation into the clean room factory. You will be expected to adhere to all OSHA and customer safety standards.

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Phoenix, Arizona.

Work Environment

The work environment is a new construction site at TSMC. You should be comfortable working outdoors in the heat and indoors without air conditioning. The site is currently all dirt with no paved roadways. You will be moving equipment into the building, so some indoor work will be covered. Expect long shifts of 10-12 hours, sometimes up to 13-14 hours, from 6:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday-Saturday. On average, you'll be walking about 25,000 steps per day (equates to 11+ miles). Every third week, you will have Saturday off. Please note, you must have steel toe boots and will need to bring a 10" adjustable crescent wrench and minimum 16-foot tape measure on your first day on-site.
