Reports To: VP of Technology  

Position Summary: Our Business Intelligence Analyst Will take ownership of solution implementation in response to customer requests. Customers will rely on our BI Analyst as a trusted resource for timely and accurate implementation of new business requirements.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Research and implement solutions for customer requests

  • Collaborate with Project Management, the Customer Success Team and customers to assist with release updates and deployments.

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot internal and external technical issues.

  • Ask customers targeted questions to quickly understand business requirements.

  • Properly escalate implementation challenges to appropriate internal teams.

  • Provide prompt and accurate updates on work estimate, expected timeline, and current status.

  • Refer to the internal database or external resources to provide accurate tech solutions.

  • Prepare accurate and timely reports and ensure all issues are properly logged.

  • Prioritize and manage several requests at one time.

  • Document technical knowledge in the form of notes and manuals.

  • Maintain a patient and cheerful demeanor while building relationships with clients.

  • Perform other duties as required/assigned.

    Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering or equivalent knowledge, skills and experience.

  • 3 years proven experience as a Technical Business Analyst, Software Solutions Engineer or similar role.

  • Advanced SQL programming. 

  • Strong experience with SQL Server.

  • Knowledge of API languages including JSON and XML.

  • Some experience with C# preferred.

  • Experience with IoT and telematics a plus

  • Prior experience working in a software development environment preferred.

  • Good understanding of computer systems, mobile devices and other tech products.

  • Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues.

  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

  • Ability to plan implementation based on high level directions and self-manage day to day tasks.

  • Ability to perform small scale project planning.

  • Ability to follow projects through to completion, adhering to tight timelines

  • Ability to learn new technologies quickly, step outside your own comfort zone and handle unfamiliar challenges enthusiastically

  • Enjoys work (overcoming obstacles is fun!), loves to help people and can work well independently or in groups

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

    Physical Requirements:

  • Remaining in a stationary position, often standing, or sitting for prolonged periods.

  • Moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from worksite to another location such as customers office.

    Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
