Job Title: Automation Foreman

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

Customer Relations:

  • Representation of MES

  • Maintaining customer and contractor relationships

Project Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the financial success of all assigned construction projects

  • Communication of project status, issues, with Project Managers

  • Reviewing project submittals and bill of materials for accuracy

  • Maintain project schedules

  • Technical support for installers

  • Provide thorough verbal and written documentation

  • Coordinate with Project Managers for design changes, graphics, and programs

  • Maintaining project forecasting manpower requirements

  • Attend construction meetings and represent MES

  • Maintaining company installation standards

Job Specifications (incl. Education requirements, minimal experience, computer skills required, etc.)

  • Minimum eight (8) years of direct automation experience with control systems and programing required.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (preferably Electrical or Mechanical) or equivalent field experience.

  • Working knowledge of at least three HVAC controls systems (preferably Delta, JCI or Andover)

  • Ability to interface with customers at a supervisory and management level.

  • Engineering skills required include knowledge of electronics, mechanics, hydraulics, pneumatics, and computer programming.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Experience with control system architecture design, programing, or maintenance desired.

  • Good computer skills, understanding of controls networking.

  • A valid driver’s license.
