We’re seeking an undergraduate intern to support Intel’s employee volunteer and community outreach programs in Arizona. As a member of Intel’s Global Community Relations team, the selected candidate will support the Arizona Community Relations team with project management, communications and overall program support. Responsibilities will include interaction with various Intel business groups, community organizations and schools in support of Intel’s employee volunteer program, neighbor relations, and community events The Global Community Relations Team leads engagement with internal and external stakeholders to protect and advance Intel’s reputation in our site communities, enabling our license to operation and positioning us for growth.

This is a part-time internship (averaging 20 hours per week) desired for 3+ months with the opportunity to extend based on business need. Candidates may be needed for occasional weekend or evening event support. Internship is in Chandler, AZ.

As a AZ Community Relations Student Intern your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Support Intel's employee volunteer and community outreach programs in Arizona.

  • Support the Arizona Community Relations team with project management, communications and overall program support.

  • Interaction with various Intel business groups, community organizations and schools in support of Intel's employee volunteer program, neighbor relations, and community events

  • Engagement with internal and external stakeholders to protect and advance Intel's reputation in our site communities, enabling our license to operation and positioning us for growth.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience would be obtained through a combination of prior education level classes, and current level school classes, projects, research, and relevant previous job and/or internship experience.

Minimum Qualifications:

The candidate must be pursuing a BS or BA in Public Relations, Communications, Business or a related field of study.

  • 3+months experience in Database entry and Event planning.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Volunteering in the community

  • Corporate Social Responsibility

  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills

Working Model

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
