Use your advanced knowledge of the hardware engineering discipline, processes and tools to help Honeywell Anthem next-gen Avionics/Integrated Flight Deck Systems (IFS) group deliver innovative solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers. You will work alongside some of the world's most talented engineers providing expertise to ensure the success of complex engineering design & development projects and programs

Key Responsibilities

  • You will contribute to the development of Honeywell's next-generation of Honeywell Anthem Avionics, Graphics & Display products, flight controls and airborne electronic hardware products by designing, testing and/or validating products/processes from prototype to market.

  • Collaborates with cross functional multi-disciplinary teams in Electronics Hardware, Systems, Software, IC design, Mechanical, Human Factors/User Experience Design, etc

  • Apply advanced hardware engineering methodologies and tools for new and existing concepts

  • Apply advanced electrical hardware design knowledge to identify opportunities, enhancements and propose technical improvements

  • Support digital and analog redesigns in support of continuous improvement and obsolescence

  • Plan and execute project subtasks (designing, testing, etc),

U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics

  • 4+ years of electrical hardware engineering experience

WE VALUE

  • Demonstrated experience designing, simulating, analyzing, and verifying design performance to requirements.

  • Deep understanding of a variety of hardware engineering standards and specifications

  • Demonstrated experience in hardware design, validation & verification activities

  • Capability to complete assignments by applying advanced hardware engineering methods and tools

  • Knowledge, understanding and/or experience with any of the following:

  • Knowledge of modern processing technologies and architectures i.e micro-processors, FPGAs, memories, and high-speed IO.

  • Proficiency with Mentor Graphics X-petition Enterprise Design Flow (OR Similar/related tool set), Mathcad, MS Excel, and LT-Spice.

  • Knowledge of module level analog / linear circuits including signal conditioning, data conversion (analog-to-digital and digital-to-analog).

  • Familiarity with the avionics development life cycle A PLUS
