Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is assisting our client in Phoenix, AZ in their search for Accounts Payable Specialist to join their team. They are seeking to interview and start someone quickly!

The anticipated wage for this position is between $20 and $25. Hourly wage may depend upon experience, education, geographic location and other factors.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm

About The Role:

The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible to process invoices in accounting software as well as weekly check processing and distribution. This is not a remote position.

What Your Primary Responsibilities Would Be:

  • Issue checks during weekly check run and any manual requests during the week. Mail/distribute checks to payees.

  • File invoice and check copies and maintain vendor files.

  • Respond to vendor, and physician, employee inquiries.

  • Support for Accounts Payable Coordinator duties during his/her absence.

  • Prepare weekly A/P cash reports.

  • Write up of select corporate/department invoices.

  • Perform related duties as assigned by Controller.

  • Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures

The Successful Candidate Will Possess:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required

  • Associate Degree Preferred

  • 2+ years general accounts payable experience required

  • 1+ years' experience in Healthcare or Managed Care preferred.

Pay Details: $20.00 to $25.00 per hour
