Presbyterian Senior Living Maintenance Specialist in Philipsburg, Pennsylvania

*$21.50 - $24 / Hour   *

 

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for preventative and routine maintenance and the upkeep of residential buildings, grounds and equipment to maintain a safe environment for residents, staff and visitors.

 

Qualifications:

  • Valid PA Driver's License required
  • Formal or on-the-job training in plumbing, electrical, painting, maintenance, carpentry and general repair preferred
  • Two years of related experience preferred
  • Able to work independently or as part of a team
  • Effectively read and interpret documents and instructions
  • Capacity to effectively troubleshoot and problem solve

Responsibilities and Expectations:

  • Complete all general maintenance of the community (basic plumbing, electrical, drywall repair, unit inspections, painting, work orders, carpentry and maintenance support).
  • Perform preventative maintenance.
  • Ensure cleanliness of assigned areas.
  • May perform daily cleaning tasks as assigned to support community.
