AVI Foodsystems is looking for an energetic and optimistic team member to fill the role of CBORD Administrator at the prestigious Hospital for the University of Pennsylvania located in University City, Philadelphia.

The duties and responsibilities of the CBORD Specialist are:

  • Oversee the functionality of the CBORD system

  • Manage and implement all upgrades and enhancements to the CBORD system

  • Provide support to the food service, nursing, and information technology departments

  • Troubleshoot, schedule, and manage all hardware and software problems and repairs

  • Train staff for CBORD diet office and create training materials to be distributed

  • Assist in the writing and maintenance of the CBORD policies and procedures

  • Coordinate CBORD in-service training with patient services team members

  • Utilize assessment and evaluation techniques that consider the varied needs of age-specific populations as well as cultural, religious, and ethnic concerns

  • Work cooperatively with hospital, clinical nutrition, and food services teams to assure conformance to diet prescriptions

  • Participate in community projects and education

  • Create and lead in services and educational presentations

  • Maintain and foster positive and professional working relationships both within the hospital and throughout AVI Foodsystems, Inc.

  • Lead and execute project management endeavors for patient programs with hospital, clinical nutrition, and food services teams
