ARAMARK Vice President of Operational Excellence - Destinations in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Job Description

The individual will be responsible for advancing Operational Excellence within the LOB. The individual will work closely with the line of business President and RVPs to determine priorities, implement tools and processes in the field, and monitor their progress. The individual?s responsibilities may be more or less weighted toward cost, quality, service or pricing based on evolving priorities and business needs.

The individual should expect to spend >50% of their time directly interfacing with field operators, and the rest working with field and HQ leadership. Travel requirements will vary based on business need, estimated to be 50%.

The position will report to the LOB President, and maintain a close relationship with the Regional Vice Presidents. They will directly manage three OpEx leaders in the LOB spanning Food, Retail, and Lodging. The individual will also work closely with COE leads to implement enterprise initiatives and develop LOB solutions.

Job Responsibilities

  • Work with President and RVPs to set operational priorities

  • Develop and drive initiatives to improve quality, service, and pricing?in Retail, Food, and Lodging

  • Ensure Food & Labor productivity performance across LOB

  • Deploy operational processes/programs and tools/technology developed by LOB and COEs

  • Lead a team that works with LOB leadership to identify and ensure success of high impact accounts within LOB

  • Ensure a standard process/toolkit is used

  • Monitor results to ensure progress & resource efficiency

  • Provide expert support to solve structural or technical problems

  • Facilitate performance monitoring and accountability

  • Analyze outcomes/indicators/behaviors to identify opportunities

  • Work closely with President and RVPs to drive improvement and accountability

  • Partner with COEs to develop and deploy field ready programs & tools

  • Build, Lead and Direct a team of OpEx leaders focused in Retail, Food, and Lodging

Qualifications

  • Experience - Requires at least 10 years experience and 5+ years in a field management role

  • Education - Bachelor's degree required; Master?s degree preferred

  • Strong leadership skill set

  • Managing people, organizing / prioritizing work, communicating priorities, monitoring progress and outcomes, coaching and improving individual performance

  • Knowledge of and experience with operational tools & processes (PRIMA, KRONOS, etc.)

  • Attention to detail

  • Process rigor and diligence

  • Listening & diagnosis skills

  • Strong oral, written, and presentation skills

  • Ability to effectively communicate to and work with a wide range of people and behavior styles

  • Fast learner; able to quickly understand complex processes & issues

  • Strong analytical skill set, including:

  • Financial and operational analysis

  • Root cause problem solving

  • Productivity toolkit (excel, powerpoint & visual display of quantitative data)

  • Computer / system savvy; able to quickly learn and manipulate new tools
