Always Best Care Senior Services Traveling Caregiver (Tuesday - Saturday PM shift) in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Always Best Care has a new FT On-Hand Caregiver position currently available. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced caregiver to join our team! In this rewarding role, you will provide daily support and companionship to wonderful individuals in their homes, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being. The ideal person is someone on stand-by and prepared to help if needed throughout the city of Philadelphia and surrounding suburbs.  This individual will need to be able to work: Second shift which is 2:30 pm – 11:00 pm, Tuesdays through Saturdays (40 hours/week) This position is a hybrid role providing aid/comfort to seniors in their homes as a Caregiver and Administrative Support at our main back office located in South Philadelphia (as applicable) Caregiver responsibilities (in the field) * Respond to all fill in assignments as assigned * Assist with all personal care functions, including bathing, incontinence care, and feeding assistance * Provide positioning, lifting, and ambulation * Offer meaningful companionship including help with errands and light housekeeping * Perform all non-medical home care duties as needed Administrative Support responsibilities (in the office) * Answer in a timely, professional, and courteous manner to customer inquiries and complaints. * Provide effective customer service for all internal and external customers * Communicate effectively with team members within the customer service department Applicant requirements * Reliable personal vehicle REQUIRED with valid Driver’s license & current auto insurance for transportation to client sites throughout city and suburbs * At least one (1) year of hands-on care giving experience, working with seniors preferred * Completed or ability to have a 2-Step PPD, chest x-ray, or QuantiFERON blood work * Completed or ability to obtain current PA Child Abuse History Certification * References and background checks will be performed
