Primary Responsibilities In the role of Senior Project Manager Transportation Architecture, we'll count on you to:

Lead, plan, design and monitor all aspects of large multidiscipline projects or medium-sized projects with high degree of technical complexity that support HDR's local and regional growth initiatives

Projects include rail, bus, airports, and ports; facility building types including administration buildings, maintenance facilities, bus and rail stations and associated ancillary buildings.

Produce and coordinate several projects concurrently

Establish and/or sustain client relations with key partners and consultants and be involved with marketing, contractual, design and production meetings

Conduct schematic design development and contract document work sessions at project sites in conjunction with Project Managers, Project Architects, and other disciplines

Coordinate workloads with project team through entire project development to complete documents on schedule

Ensure work meets goals and objectives for the project and work with the Department Managers for project reviews

Implement QA/QC procedures

Execute training for personnel as established by strategic plans

Supervise large project staffs and act as mentor for less-experienced Project Managers

Perform other duties as needed *LI-MP1 Qualifications Required Qualifications

Bachelors or Masters Degree in Architecture

Registered Architect, 15+ years of experience

Must be able to lead a team on projects

Strong written and communication skills

Good analytical, planning, and mentoring skills

Experience with Microsoft Office suite, Project Management and Scheduling software

An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must Preferred Qualifications

Experience and/or interest in sustainable design/LEED/Envision desired, but not required

Strong knowledge of codes

Familiarity with local transit agencies and Transportation Architecture a plus
