At Merakey, we put heart and soul into everything we do.  We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at our program in Philadelphia, PA.  As an RN at Merakey, you'll play a vital role in providing direct nursing care to individuals with developmental and physical disabilities. Your responsibilities will include clinical assessments, medication administration, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care.  Earn $ 38/hour.  Essential Job Functions:   *  Administer medications and treatments, including tube feedings and tracheostomy care, with precision and compassion.  *  Perform nursing assessments on residents as needed to identify and address health issues promptly.  *  Collaborate with various healthcare professionals and specialists to coordinate comprehensive care, keeping the nurse manager informed.  *  Provide health education to residents and their families, including implementing self-medication programs as directed by the nurse manager.  *  Conduct in-service training for staff to ensure compliance with protocols and procedures, promoting a culture of excellence in care delivery.  *  Communicate health issues with the interdisciplinary team, actively participating in staff meetings and monthly reviews with the QIDP.  *  Complete quarterly assessments in a timely manner, maintaining accurate documentation.  *  Fulfill duties as a charge nurse when assigned, carrying an emergency contact telephone, and responding as required.  *  Perform other duties as assigned, contributing to the smooth operation of our program.   If you're ready to advance your nursing career while making a meaningful impact, apply now to join our team at Merakey.
