Responsibilities

Friends Hospital is the nation's oldest private psychiatric hospital, located on a beautiful 100-acre campus in Philadelphia, PA. Friends Hospital offers a continuum of care including level of care assessments; specially designed inpatient units for adolescents, adults, and older adults; and a private residential rehabilitation program. Friends Hospital is easily accessed via public transportation and has free, safe, on-site parking.

The Registered Dietitian is responsible for the overall therapeutic and clinical dietetic program, interpreting the nutritional needs of residents for planning diets and instructing patients in accordance with their physician's diet order.

Qualifications

Masters Degree in Dietetics or related field from an accredited college or university. Followed by an approved internship and registration as a professional dietitian. Registered Dietitian licensure in Pennsylvania required. Two years experience working in an inpatient/outpatient setting preferred.
