Proposal Specialist

Urban Engineers is seeking qualified individuals to join the Corporate Development Department as a Proposal Specialist. This position will work closely with technical Project Managers and Graphics staff to develop and generate proposal submissions for clients and/or prospects focused on the New York Metropolitan area, as well as support business development corporate wide.

Responsibilities  * Assist technical engineering staff with writing, editing, coordinating, compiling, and proofreading proposals and qualifications packages.  * Develop resumes, project profiles, and other collateral marketing materials.  * Update and maintain employee information in Deltek Vision CRM.  * Format and produce proposals.

Requirements :  * A Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communication or Marketing is required.  * At least 5 years of hands-on experience in developing and generating proposal and qualification submissions for Engineering, Architectural, or Construction firms.  * Specific knowledge of Standard Forms 330 is preferred.  * ECMS experience is preferred.  * Candidate must possess strong writing, proofreading, and editing skills.  * Working knowledge of MS Office Suite.  * Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and InDesign.  * Experience with Deltek Vision 6 system is a plus.  * Excellent interpersonal, communication, time management, and organization skills are required.
