In this role, you will spearhead the technical development and strategic execution of the Comcast Payment Platform, ensuring it meets the technical specifications, business goals, and market needs.

Job Description

What You’ll Do:

As the payment platform grows, the intricacy of its technical demands necessitates a dedicated Technical Platform owner. This role is pivotal for:

  • Ensuring that the technical development of the payment platform aligns seamlessly with our strategic objectives, ensuring a robust and market-ready product that accepts credit cards, ACH and digital payments.

  • Centralizing technical program oversight, which is vital for managing complex integrations and maintaining high-quality standards.

  • Point of contact for technical decisions – Will partner with senior leadership and technical architects to drive technical strategy and decision-making.

  • Bridging the gap between the technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring that product development is driven by both technical excellence and business vision.

  • Investing in this dual-faceted role is crucial for the disciplined technical execution of the payment project and maintaining the platform going forward, providing the technical acumen and program management expertise necessary to navigate the complexities of the payment solutions landscape and secure/maintain our competitive edge.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Roadmap Development: Craft and oversee the technical roadmap, ensuring alignment with the overall business strategy and technical requirements.

  • Program Management: Manage and coordinate the technical aspects of the platform across multiple workstreams, ensuring they adhere to the technical standards, deadlines, and budget constraints.

  • Technical Leadership: Work in tandem with senior management to make informed technical decisions, ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with business objectives.

  • Risk and Dependency Management: Identify technical risks and inter-workstream dependencies, devising mitigation strategies to maintain program momentum.

  • Stakeholder Communication: Communicate complex technical information effectively to stakeholders and maintain transparency on project and platform status and issues.

  • Agile Practice Leadership: Implement and lead Agile practices tailored to the technical nature of the program and the platform, promoting iterative development and continuous improvement.

  • Performance Analysis: Define technical performance metrics to track progress and inform adjustments to the technical approach as needed.

What You’ll Need:

  • Solid technical background with experience in product management and program management within a tech-driven environment.

  • Deep understanding of payment platforms, financial systems, and digital transformation.

  • Proficiency in Agile methodologies and technical project management software.

  • Strong leadership capabilities and excellent communication skills with the ability to engage with technical teams and business stakeholders alike.
