As a Payroll Clerk your Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Accurately processing and reviewing payroll data

• Maintaining and updating employee data within the ADP system

• Handling sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism

• Working closely with the accounting team to ensure data accuracy and compliance

• Utilizing various accounting software systems, such as Ceridian, IBM AS/400, and Kronos Timekeeping System

• Performing other accounting functions and accounts payable tasks as required

• Understanding and applying knowledge of various accounting functions

• Supporting benefit functions and processing checks when necessary

• Resolving any payroll discrepancies or issues promptly and efficiently

• Regularly communicating with employees and management to answer queries and provide information regarding payroll data.

Requirements

The ideal Payroll Clerk candidate will have:

• High School Diploma or equivalent and 2 years of related experience in payroll functions.

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Understanding of Accounting Functions

• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP)

• Knowledge of Benefit Functions

• Experience in Check Processing

• Familiarity with Ceridian

• Knowledge and experience with IBM AS/400

• Experience with Kronos Timekeeping System

• Ability to use About Time software
