We are seeking a Patient Services Representative to join our team in Philadelphia, PA 19119! The Patient Services Representative for Merakey Total Health (MTH) provides support with the daily activities of a medical office in order to provide the best patient care. They will be representing MTH on the front lines and will be instrumental in bringing in new patients while retaining existing patients. Someone in this role must be dependable, while exhibiting a high level of customer service and always maintaining professionalism and confidentiality. The Patient Services Representative: greets patients and visitors in a prompt, courteous, and helpful manner. checks-in patients, verifies and updates necessary information in the electronic medical records/database, performs all registration functions. assists patients with ambulatory difficulties, or other needs, as appropriate. maintains computerized scheduling and follows office scheduling policies. handles phone calls as appropriate. attendance/punctuality: Dependable and arrives to work on time. cooperates and helps out coworkers if needed and is committed to the success of the team. performs other duties as assigned. Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
Medical office experience preferred.
Prior experience with EMRs systems and general computer skills Written and oral fluency in English, fluency in Spanish is a plus.
High School Diploma, or equivalent, required. Prior customer service skills Ability to work independently and part of a team. Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment. Comfortable communicating with the public face-to-face, over the telephone, and via email Consistent work history
