University City Housing (UCH) is a Philadelphia-based firm that buys, renovates, maintains and manages real estate for long-term investment. With over 4,000 residential units and 250,000 square feet of commercial space in Philadelphia and the surrounding suburbs, University City Housing has provided the Greater Philadelphia area with quality apartment homes and places to work since 1967.

UCH is seeking a motivated and responsible Part-time Bartender to work in a fast paced full service Clubhouse located in the heart of our community at Summit Park Apartments (www.summitphilly.com). We encourage our residents to ‘Have Fun Where You Live’ and this role is critical in ensuring they can do just that! Our clubhouse includes a fitness facility, tennis courts, pools, restaurant and bar, shuttle service and a full events calendar.

MUST HAVE CURRENT RAMP OR TIPS CERTIFICATION

RESPONSIBILITIES & QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE:

  • Ability to interact with residents and guests to assure the highest level of guest satisfaction.

  • Understand, perform and adhere to all clubhouse rules and regulations.

  • Ability to serve food and beverages (including alcoholic and non-alcoholic) in a high-volume bar and grill.

  • Complete knowledge of our menu, liquor, beer, wine and specials.

  • Knowledge of federal, state and local liquor laws.

  • Ability to interact verbally and listen attentively to residents, guests, co-workers & supervisors.

  • Effective and professional oral communication skills.

  • Ability to work in a high energy and demanding environment.

  • Able to stand and exert fast-paced mobility for entire shift.

  • Nights/weekend availability required.
