Description Are you a passionate legal professional that is meticulous in detail? Robert Half is searching to fill the role of a Junior Paralegal to oversee intake and matter management for a critical client. The Junior Paralegal's responsibilities will enclose conducting legal research, drafting and reviewing documents, supporting cases, and likely extend into other diverse areas as assigned, requiring a creative mind and problem solving abilities. Responsibilities will cover working independently as well as in a broader team. This is a permanent role, which is based in the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania area. What you get to do every single day
Oversee computer database input and retrieval
Filing, word processing, and faxing
Stay on top of legal research and investigative tasks, including obtaining information or documents from outside parties, as directed
Find and retrieve electronic documents from a variety of court and agency web sites
Cache e-documents and files
Oversee matter management and record keeping
Gather documents and assemble data as directed by lawyers and paralegals
Draft correspondence and memorandum
Review originals documents and checking if copies are true Requirements - Strong computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets and presentation software, as well as databases and customer database systems
Associate's or bachelor's degree preferred. Paralegal Certificate a plus
Sound written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated technology and analytical abilities
Minimum of three years of related experience in an administrative support role, or equivalent
Proven ability to use the internet for research
Wide ranging experience with Litigation ParaLegal
Practical knowledge of communication
LexisNexis experience preferred
Quality experience with Complaint Handling
Management System experience highly desired
Enterprise resource planning experience
Earlier work involving Litigation ParaLegal
Comprehensive knowledge of Case Management Software
Proven knowledge of auditing
General familiarity with Claim Administration
Proficiency in Fusion
Well-founded grasp of Billing Functions
Able to handle multiple assignments, work well under pressure, and have the flexibility to assist the team in meeting client demands on accelerated schedules
Strong time management and organizational skills
Former Paralegal or Legal Assistant or legal support experience strongly preferred
Capable of operating in a fast-paced environment at a high level
