Job Description/Essential Functions:

Responsible for interacting with local businesses to identify job placement and career advancement opportunities for individuals with severe disabilities (MH/ID) . To promote and develop employment and on-the-job training opportunities for (MH/ID) consumers Meet individually with potential participants to complete all necessary documentation for employment placement opportunities in the community Partner with business organizations (i.e. Chamber of Commerce and Union Organizations etc.) to help promote customized employment solutions to meet of the needs of both the consumers and business.  Identify and present agency services to potential employers.

Job Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Social Service and Rehabilitation Services or a related field and 1 year of experience in the (MH/ID) field; or any combination of experience, education or training that would provide the level of knowledge, skill and ability required as identified in the Department of Public Welfare's 6400 regulations. Experience in business-to-business Sales and Customer Services preferred.

Proficient in computer applications (MS Office, Excel and forms application(s).

Excellent interpersonal communication and problem-solving skills.

Very good communication skills, both oral and written.

Ability to work independently, detail oriented.

Ability to interact with all levels of staff and interdisciplinary teams to achieve established goals.

Strong analytical skills Valid driver's license required.

Scope: Required sitting for long periods of time. Light lifting and/or carrying, not to exceed 25 lbs. Frequent talking and listening. Flexible schedule, including some evening and/or weekend hours.
