Description

This role will involve performing various HR duties, including assisting with sourcing new talent, posting open requisitions, recruiting, new hire orientation, updates to the employee handbook, employee relations, in addition to various other HR functions.

What you get to do every single day

  • Maintain employment records for new hires, transfers, promotions, and terminations

  • Update internal policies and procedures under the general guidance of the HR leadership team

  • Oversee the hiring process including screening applicants' resumes, performing candidate background checks, and job postings

  • Manage benefits and open enrollment programs

  • Develop and provide orientation and onboarding to new employees

  • Manage scheduling and conduct candidate interviews

    Requirements

  • This position's duties require a person who is highly professional; able to use good judgment and maintain a high level of confidentiality and sensitivity

  • B.A. or B.S. degree preferred, preferably with a Human Resources emphasis

  • Excellent written and verbal business skills

  • Experience using Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)

  • Proficient with office computer applications and software, as well as social media platforms

  • Prior experience or knowledge managing Open Enrollment preferred

  • Able to work independently as well as part of a team with flexibility and willingness to learn and to take initiative on variety of tasks and projects
