"Our client, a hospital in Philadelphia, is looking for a Front-End Developer/Designer to join their team for a 6 month freelance assignment. This is a 40 hour per week assignment. Work will be done primarily remotely, but candidates must be able to commute to their Philadelphia campus once a quarter.Responsibilities:  Champion the user experience and interface design to promote best-in-industry, innovative digital experiences (both mobile and desktop) and email communications Work cross-functionally with members of Creative Services, Digital, Consumer Insights, Account Management, Project Management, Public Relations, IS and outside resources as needed to build creative and functional user experiences Assure design for all web properties, digital products, emails, and email journeys are executed and launched according to established timelines and project plan Work closely and collaboratively with development and engineering teams to ensure final implementation matches the original design across various screen sizes and devices Synthesize user feedback, user research and data to inform final product design and future enhancements Efficiently communicate goals and design direction with Marketing, PR, Business and other partners Execute a strategic vision at the onset of a project based on project goals and work with the team to deliver on this vision at every step of the design and development process Create wireframes, interface designs and prototypes Participate in pre-launch Q&A and post-launch validation Stay up-to-date on accessibility requirements, communicate related recommendations to relevant stakeholders, and ensure experiences meet accessibility best practices Define standards and follow best practices for web/email design and development and evolve creative process and template designs when needed to ensure a top-quality product Establish digital design pattern libraries and design components that reflect brand standards across the organization Update and follow interactive style guide to be used in ongoing development of new features and extension of existing functionalityRequirements:- Bachelor's Degree Graphic Design, Web Design, UX, UI or Programming - 4+ years experience in web development - 2+ years experience designing and managing UX for mobile apps, web-based applications, and desktop apps- Strong portfolio containing specific examples showcasing front-end elements- Advanced knowledge of front-end code including HTML5, CSS3, & JavaScript- Proficiency with Drupal 8+, Wordpress, and other marketing technology in respect to journey and email design, development, and deployment- Advanced knowledge of Web, Android and iOS development tools and front-end frameworks- Proficiency in Figma is required- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite is a plus- Excellent communication and collaboration skills - Comfort in working with legacy systems to troubleshoot design and other front-end issues - Responsive design expert; mobile first proponent - Ability to iterate on/modify existing designs and create and execute designs from scratch Benefits: Creative Circle's Freelance Employee benefits package includes eligibility for Minimum Essential Coverage (MEC) medical plan, dental/vision/term life package, discount prescription program, critical illness, accident, tele-behavioral health, and 401(k) plan.
