*Summary of Position: *

Helicopter Instructor Pilot.  To conduct in-aircraft initial conversion and/or recurrent flight training onsite and at customer location.  To complete course paperwork as required by Leonardo Helicopters and to assist in the development of course training material.

*2.   Essential Duties and Responsibilities: *

* 1.*To deliver Leonardo Helicopters (LH) standardized pilot training in accordance with (IAW) LH pilot training syllabi- 

  • Preflight instruction and briefings

  • Preflight training requirements in OTD (other training devices)

  • In-flight training 

  • Postflight debriefing

  • Course paperwork

Evaluation of student throughout the training process. Alerting US Chief Flight Instructor Pilot of any training issue.

2.Prepare courseware as direct by US Chief Flight Instructor Pilot

3.Demonstrations and Ferry flights as require by LH

4.Maintain flight hours, pilot and medical certification requirements IAW LH requirements

Qualifications for Position: *

*         A. Education*

N/A

* *

*         B. Experience*

•    2,500 total hours Helicopter

•    1,000 hours twin turbine helicopter - preferred

•    300 hours instrument -- actual/simulated

* *

*         C. Competencies & Attributes*

1.

•    Instructor background in helicopters

*2. *

•    Bilingual English/Spanish preferred

3.

•    Strong IFR experience and knowledge

4.

•    Experience in the development of aviation training material

5.

•    A119 trained, 150 hours as PIC on type preferred

6.

•    IT skills: Microsoft Office

*         D. Licensure/Certification*

•    FAA Rotorcraft Commercial Certificate, ATP Preferred

•    FAA CFI/CFII

•    EASA Preferred

•    Valid FAA Medical, minimum Second-class, First-Class preferred.
