ICP Group Entry level Retail Territory Sales Manager in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

ICP Group is looking to identify a Retail Territory Sales Manager to join our team in the Philadelphia market (Western PA, NY, and NJ).  You will build relationships with store personnel, customers, and contractors as well as review promotional activity in stores, product sales, planograms, seasonal endcaps, product stack-outs and/or other cross merchandising promotions. You will be responsible to develop an understanding of your market, sales trends, and pricing.

Conduct yourself as a professional sales leader in the industry to grow profitable sales through Lowe’s and Home Depot stores with a major focus on developing relationships and training store associates, contractors and repeat users.

Responsibilities :

  • Grow store sales volume in the designated territory.

  • Communicate with Store Managers, Department Supervisors, Assistant Store Managers, and MST/MET (service team) manager. 

  • Product training- Provide hands on and/or product knowledge trainings for store personnel and customers.

  • Special orders and .com training with the Pro team.

  • Work with the Pro team to secure potential customers.  Be a resource for this team to collaborate in the process and make sure the customers’ needs and questions are answered.

  • Product assortments and inventory- Confirm actual and system inventory counts match up and work with store personnel to address if changes are needed.

  • Planogram integrity- work with MST/MET managers to ensure product is in correct locations.

  • Cross merchandise product.

  • Conduct weekly competitor price shops. 

  • Document store visits.

    Experience needed

  • A Bachelor’s degree preferred with previous Retail Sales experience

  • Exceptional verbal, presentation, and training skills

  • Ability to work independently with clients to overcome typical sales objections (i.e. – price, application knowledge and etc.)

  • Comfortable cold calling within a set territory

  • Ability to be a road warrior within a set territory with ability to travel overnight if required

  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
