Job Summary: The Director of Student Conduct & Community Standards serves as the leader of the Office of Student Conduct & Community Standards and reports to the Associate Vice President of Student Affairs. This position is responsible for the student conduct code and disciplinary procedures and promotes student responsibility, civility, and respect through effective administration of the student conduct process, educational programming, and development, communication, and enforcement of relevant university policies. The Director of Student Conduct & Community Standards manages institutional risk in the adjudication of cases, conducts training and outreach, provides consultation on student conduct issues, and assures compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Required Education & Experience: Master's degree in the area of Education, Student Development, Counseling, or related field. A minimum of three years of experience in student conduct, programming, and/or mediation is required. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. Required Skills & Abilities: Demonstrated skills in problem resolution and student counseling or advising. Proven competency in Microsoft software, Excel, and database reporting. Demonstrated interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills along with the ability to communicate with a diverse group of faculty, staff, students, and external community.
