Description

Job Title: Community Manager with Tax Credit/Section 8 Experience

Our company is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Community Manager with Section 8 experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of project-based HAP Contracts with HUD and experience transmitting vouchers through TRACS. Additionally, the candidate should have experience with EIV.

This position for a community manager is in Philadelphia that will be split between 3 properties, A & Indiana, Impact Veterans and Liberty 52.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day operations of the property

  • Ensure compliance with all HUD regulations and guidelines

  • Maintain accurate records and files related to Section 8 housing

  • Process and transmit vouchers through TRACS

  • Conduct annual and interim recertifications for residents

  • Maintain positive relationships with residents, staff, and vendors

  • Prepare and submit required reports to HUD

  • Ensure that the property is maintained in a safe and clean manner

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Community Manager with Section 8 experience

  • Strong understanding of project-based HAP Contracts with HUD

  • Experience transmitting vouchers through TRACS

  • Knowledge of EIV

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Strong organizational and time management skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and property management software
