Description We are offering an opportunity in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, for a Business Analyst in the IT sector. This role serves as a liaison between the business community and the IT organization, providing technical solutions to meet user needs. It requires expertise in both the business units being supported and the IT organization's systems and capabilities.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as an intermediary between the business community and the IT organization to deliver technical solutions that fulfill user needs.

• Analyze business partners' operations to identify strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities for process automation.

• Participate in business process redesign and documentation to align with new technology.

• Translate high level business requirements into functional specifications for the IT organization and manage changes to these specifications.

• Educate the IT organization on the direction of the business.

• Negotiate agreements and commitments by facilitating communication between business units and IT from initial requirements to final implementation.

• Stay updated with technological trends and leverage this knowledge to bring solutions to business units to enhance their competitive edge.

• Make recommendations for buy versus build decisions when appropriate.

• Provide workstation support and implement necessary changes.

• Communicate effectively with multiple stakeholders, including business partners and technical teams. Requirements • Possess strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively liaise between business units and technology teams

• Proven experience in documenting processes, specifications, and functional requirements

• Knowledge of operations and workstation support

• Demonstrated negotiation skills, particularly in implementing technical solutions

• Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications

• Degree in Computer Sciences or Business Administration, or related field

• Experience in creating and managing Business Requirement Documents

• Ability to work collaboratively with business partners to identify and implement effective technical solutions

• Understanding of EO/IR systems and Information systems

• Demonstrated ability to automate processes to improve efficiency

• Ability to serve as a liaison between different business units

• Familiarity with technological trends to ensure the business maintains a competitive edge

• Previous experience supporting a specific business unit is beneficial
